The average age of farmers in Georgia exceeds the typical age of retirement. As the population of farmers declines and the distance from farm to plate grows, we realize the importance of restoring our population with farming skills and knowledge.
One of our largest and most wide-reaching goals at Serenbe Farms is to empower all generations with hands on experience and skills to build a positive food future. We work to achieve these goals through our full season apprenticeship program, through tours and group programs, and through volunteer opportunities.
