Learn about mycology and the process of inoculating mushroom blocks, which participants will be able to take home. Your mushroom block should become an abundant food source within 3-6 weeks. Participants will get one block each for Lions Mane Mushrooms and Gray Dove Oyster Mushrooms

Mimosas and other refreshments included. Class is limited to 25 participants. Tickets are non-refundable.

Rain or Shine! Weather permitting, participants should expect to be outside for the entirety of the class. Please dress accordingly, layers are our friends. If it happens to rain on the day of the event, we will host the class inside of the greenhouse.

This course will be hosted by Farmer Garver Akers who serves as the Farm Manager at Serenbe Farms. Garver has been farming professionally for 18 years, and for a year and a half of that he has grown gourmet oyster and lions mane mushrooms which were sold at our farmers market stand last year.
